Application Guidelines (Please Read Carefully)
To encourage members’ children to pursue academic excellence, the Association has established scholarships and financial aid to support their educational development. Please read the following application rules carefully and submit your application as required.
A. Eligibility
- Applicants must be children of official members of the Association and must be enrolled in Malaysian government primary/secondary schools or private secondary schools.
- The applicant’s parent must be a registered member of the Association, have paid the current annual subscription, and hold valid membership.
B. Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded based on academic results, with the following criteria:
1. Primary School (KSSR Year 1 to Year 6)
- Academic results showing all subjects passed; and
- With at least 5 subjects must achieve TP5 or above (TP = Tahap Penguasaan, level of mastery).
2. Secondary School (KSSM Remove Class, Form 1 to Form 3, Form 4; Independent Chinese Secondary Schools – Remove Class, Junior 1 to Junior 3, Senior 1 to Senior 2)
- Annual average score of 65% or above;
- Academic results showing all subjects passed; and
- With at least 4 subjects achieving TP5 or above.
3. Government Examinations, Independent Chinese School Unified Examinations, IGCSE, O-Level, A-Level, Matriculation, Foundation or Equivalent
(a) SPM / O-Level / IGCSE or Equivalent
- Academic results showing all subjects passed; and
- With at least 5 subjects with grade B or above.
(b) Independent Chinese Secondary School Junior Unified Examination or Equivalent
- Academic results showing all subjects passed; and
- With at least 5 subjects with grade B or above.
(c) STPM / Matriculation / Independent Chinese Secondary School Senior Unified Examination / A-Level / Foundation or Equivalent
- For STPM / Matriculation / Foundation
- Minimum CGPA of 2.50 in 4 subjects.
- For Senior Unified Examination
- At least 5 subjects with grade B or above.
(d) Universities / Colleges
Those who have received official admission offers from local or overseas universities/colleges are eligible to apply.
4. Additional Awards
To encourage outstanding performance, the following additional awards are specially established:
- Language Excellence Award – Achieving grade A in Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia or English in any of the above examinations qualifies for an additional award.
All-Subjects Excellence Award – Achieving grade A in all subjects qualifies for a special award.
C. Bursary (Study Assistance)
The financial aid scheme aims to assist children of members from low-income families to complete their studies.
Eligibility Conditions:
- Total monthly household income not exceeding RM4,000 (B40 group).
- Required documents:
- Submission of the B40 Low-Income Assistance Eligibility Certificate or pay slips;
- Proof of current school enrolment;
- Certificate or statement of good conduct of the child;
- Academic results showing all subjects passed.
- Students with outstanding academic results may apply for both scholarship and financial aid simultaneously.

E. Important Notes
Complete Submission
All application documents must be submitted before the deadline.
Late Applications Will Not Be Accepted
Late or incomplete applications will not be processed.
Notification of Results
Only successful applicants will be notified.
